Communication

The communication exchanges are expressed in IEC61850 over several SCL elements (e.g. dataset, Control Block, inputs,…).

One of the main concepts of Helinks STS is to promote a full Top-Down engineering approach fully manufacturer agnostic. This enforces that the communication exchange is also specified in a top-down approach with an IED manufacturer agnostic point of view.

The result of this approach is that the final communication configuration (dataset, ControlBlock) is totally automated based on :
