Reverse Engineering process

• Create an empty project

• Import the SCD file

• Fix the System Diagram layout and check the Network connections

• Add the Process Section to the SCD (Single Line)

• Remove All Functions and Logical Nodes from the specification

• Allocate IED Placeholders and implement them with the IEDs from the SCD file

• Use the Reverse Engineering Button to create Functions, Logical Nodes and Signals based on

  • DOI/DAI

  • MMS Reports Data Sets

  • GOOSE DataSets

• Document the scd

• Extract a Library for future standardized solutions
