Introduction

  1. Present people and participants

  2. Give a short Introduction on Helinks and on the Engineering Process (Slides)

Demo

Introduction

  • Present Dashboard Icons

    1. Single Line Editor for the specification

    2. Process editor: 61850 specification of general electrical systems

    3. Application Editor for data exchange

    4. Namespace editor allows users to create their own namespaces

    5. Import to import any kind of SCL file + Excel files

    6. System diagram to represent the network and the IEDs of the project and the AccessPoints

    7. Export the produced SCL files

    8. Communication represent the actual SCL projet over multiple visualisation axes.

  • Quickly introduce the start state of the project (partially done)

    1. System Diagram (only E03BPU is messing to show the work step with the System Diagram)

    2. Usage of predefined library

    3. Application already present but empty with automatization of the process.

      1. SampledMeasurments : where the PIU send SV to protection and to Control for MMXU

      2. Switch and Breaker control : where the PIU send the position to the control and the control send the commande to the PIU

      3. Trip : where the protection send trip to the PIU

      4. Breaker failure : the most complex one with more participant

        1. the PIU activate the breakerfailure of the controler

        2. the Controler do the internal Breakerfailure to the PIU breaker interface

        3. the Controler do the external BreakerFailure to the PIU breaker interface of the transfo

      5. => but no signals and/or input define this will come with the instantiation of the bay from the library.

      6. Show the content of an application

    4. Single line

      1. show HMI and SCADA

      2. => but no signals and/or input define this will come with the instantiation of the bay from the library.

    5. Show the state of the SCL project before we start : no dataset.

    6. Show the content of the library.

Start the specification of the substation base on the library.

  • Single Line Editor

    1. Instantiate the bays from the library.

      1. 01 line

        1. show the content of the instantiation

          1. signal list

          2. inputs

        2. Show the application

      2. 02 transformer

      3. 03 line

      4. 04 line

      5. 05 transformer

      6. 06 line

      7. Do Electrical connection

Now we have done the Specification of the substation !

then we need to assign the physical IED to the Virtual device roles in the bay and map the specification LN and Signals to the relay information.

  • Show automatic implementation of the IEDs

    1. explain the how the mapping is retrieve from the library (use PDIS in on bay and show IED type mappign)

      1. Explain Signal List with mappings and IED Type Mappings

    2. Explain why one IED isn’t implemented

  • Show System Diagram

    1. add the missing ABB IED

  • Do manual implementation for the new added IED

  • Show Communication Editor content

Now the mapping is done we can then generate the communication. The generated communication will take in account the specification, the mapping to the IEDs, the service section of the IEDs and the Manufacturer know specificities.

  • Create SCL Configuration

    • see the configuration on E01BCU

  • Show Result in Communication Editor

    • dataset no more empty

    • show report BUP with predefined

    • show goose matrix…

  • Export SCD

  • Show GOOSE Inputs in SCD with xml editor

  • Run and Show Documentation

Explain the normal workflow vs the demo.

  • library definition

  • Single line

  • Application Editor

  • Export SSD and documentation

  • Import icd

  • System diagram

  • Implementation

  • communication configuration

  • Export SCD and documentation
